An ancient oil mill, located in the historic center of Cropani, recovered from Casa Ligarò, now houses the oil museum.
Inside this architectural jewel, it is possible to admire the ancient granitic millstones of the Sila and a very rare system of wooden presses, dating back to the XVII century. and still perfectly preserved.
The cultivation of the olive tree in the Calabria area that now houses the Casa Ligarò factories dates back to ancient times, and is witnessed by the presence of numerous ancient olive presses.
The company, fully aware of how important is to do a careful work of recovery and conservation to safeguard these treasures of industrial archaeology, has made a significant contribution in this direction.
